The Iraqi Scientific Society for Concrete (ISSC), in cooperation with Baghdad Municipality Projects, holds a workshop on Concrete Mix-Design
The Iraqi Scientific Society for Concrete (ISSC), in cooperation with the Baghdad Municipality Projects, is holding a workshop entitled “Design of Concrete Mixes According to ACI 211.1.” The workshop includes an introduction to concrete mix design methods, design calculations supported by examples, and the effect of chemical Additives and pozzolanic materials and other materials utilised in concrete mixtures. The workshop will be held in the Projects Department Hall - Al-Zawraa Park on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. The speaker will be Prof. Dr. Alaa Hussein Al-Zuhairi, President of the Board of Directors of the Iraqi Scientific Society for Concrete (ISSC) and a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad.
