The Iraqi Scientific Society for Concrete (ISSC), in cooperation with the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities \/ Training and Development Center, is organizing a scientific workshop entitled: \u201cOn-Site Concrete \u2013 Problems and Solutions\u201d, at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in the hall of the National Center for Engineering Consultations - Baghdad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop aims to highlight the most prominent challenges facing concrete implementation at construction sites and offer scientific and practical solutions to these challenges. The workshop's topics include an introduction to concrete mix design, production, transportation and processing, implementation problems, as well as on-site concrete testing and possible solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop will be addressed by consulting engineer Faris Abdul Razzaq Al-Mahdawi, a member of the association's board of directors and a distinguished expert in the fields of concrete and civil engineering. He will present his experience and observations on implementation problems in construction projects and how to avoid them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This workshop comes within the framework of the Association's and the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities' commitment to developing engineering competencies and raising the level of performance in construction projects, in line with modern developments in construction technologies and quality of implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
