About Us ?

The Iraqi Scientific Society for Concrete was established in 2025 under the Scientific Societies Law No. 55 of 1981 (as amended) and by ministerial order issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under No. (B.T. 2/168 dated 7/1/2025). It is directly affiliated with the Directorate of Research and Development at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The society aims to promote and support theoretical and practical scientific activities related to concrete, including manufacturing technology, quality control, laboratory testing of various types of concrete, design of reinforced sections, and construction operations in structural projects.

The society also aims to collaborate with professionals in the field, researchers from research centres, and specialised universities to build a robust and productive network with relevant institutions, both inside and outside the country, to advance all matters related to concrete. The administrative board aspires for the Iraqi Scientific Society for Concrete to become one of the most trusted sources in the development of scientific research, academic studies and conferences, as well as industrial outputs and design solutions for concrete structures.
